| DIRECT MARKETING: |
We at Heavy Duty Group make use of direct marketing to ensure close contact between our clients and our products. Potential clients will read about HD Group and what we have to offer, but the actual sales is done through personal contact with us. We have four representatives working from head office that spend all their time visiting clients. The representatives visit the actual sites to make sure the correct machine is recommended for the job.
All our representatives have a technical background and to ensure that they are kept up to date with our products, they are required to spend short periods of time in the workshop, working on the various machines. More in depth training is given if new models are introduced by the company. |
| AFTER SALES SERVICE: |
| In order to make sure the machines are serviced and maintained properly, we have four specialized field service teams on a 24 hour standby basis. Our technical teams are properly trained and qualified to service, repair and overhaul machines up to component level. With each visit to a machine, a proper survey on the condition of the machine is done and a report is handed to the foreman responsible for the maintenance of the machine. Included in this report is a list of recommendations for preventative maintenance. All visits, repairs, maintenance, reports and relevant data are recorded at HD Group head office for safe keeping. |
| 100% SPARE PARTS: |
| It is of outmost importance that HD Group stocks enough parts to supply whatever demand may occur. Machines not working due to the lack of spare parts are not acceptable to Heavy Duty Group. We have a dedicated company “Heavy Duty Earthmoving Parts PTY [LTD]” that specializes in spare parts. The biggest portion of parts is kept at head office but some service and wear-parts are stocked at dealers for quick turn-around-time. |
| ON SITE SHOWS: |
| We target hotspots in different sectors of the market and have a dedicated show in that specific area. With this we make sure that all the clients, contractors and engineers in the surrounding areas are invited to the show. Demonstrations will then be arranged with interested clients. |

Category A: |

This dealership has sales offices and full workshop facilities. These dealers can sell machines but is also responsible for services, maintenance and repairs on the machines. They are required to carry a certain quantity of stock on wear and service items. At this point in time we have one dealer in the north and one in the east of the country. For 2009 we plan to increase the quantity from 2 dealers to 5 dealers to cover the most important parts of South Africa. |

These dealers have sales offices only. They are required to visit the clients on site, as well as arranging demonstrations on site. We will expand from 3 dealers to 7 dealers during 2009. |

INCREASE AREA / CLIENTS: |

To ensure Heavy Duty Group makes use of the ever expanding market, we plan to open offices in neighboring countries. All the blue chip mining and construction companies in South Africa have operations in neighboring countries and Sub Sahara Africa.
In this section of the plan we also work on black empowerment for Heavy Duty Group. The South African Government passed new laws regarding the amount of black involvement in a company. To enable a company to deal with Government departments, black empowerment rules must be strictly followed. We have identified 3 black owned companies that are interested to buy 26% shares in Heavy Duty Group. This process will be finalized before 28 February 2009. Once Heavy Duty Group is black empowered, a big new field of opportunities will open up for us. |

QUALITY AND SERVICE: |

All the yellow machines that we distribute, where necessary, have been tested by South African Bureau of Standards. This enables us to register all machines on the South African Natis database. This Natis system will follow the machine through-out its entire life cycle.
We strive to supply top quality machines at an affordable price with 100% after-sales-service. Heavy Duty Group is the only Chinese importer that supply machines with tubeless tyres, robs/fobs cab and dual braking system. |
